A Fair Go at School – Youth Leadership Forum
As part of Victorian Youth Fest 2022, Sussex Neighbourhood House will be hosting a free one-day youth leadership forum for local young leaders to meet, discuss, and have their voice heard on issues that matter to them.
This year’s theme will be ‘A Fair Go at School’. Young people will be invited to share their experiences of inequality and disadvantage at secondary school and work together to propose solutions.
All young people from 12 – 25 are welcome: it doesn’t matter if you just started high school or you finished a few years ago. Ideal for young leaders looking for an opportunity to build their leadership skills while meeting other young people in the community.
Guest speakers from local youth organisations will be in attendance.
As with last year, our findings from the event (which you can read here) will be submitted to the Department of Education for consideration.
