Lid Recycling – Jesuit Social Services & The Ecological Justice Hub

Sussex Neighbourhood House has been collecting plastic bottle lids for many years to support the Lids4Kids initiative, and Jesuit Social Services have found a way to locally give these lids another life.

The Jesuit Social Services’ Ecological Justice Hub uses specialist machinery to recycle donated plastic lids and repurpose them for practical use. Products currently manufactured at the Hub using recycled lids include display boards, plant pots, and carabiners – all available for purchase at SNH.
