This free event is open to everyone! Bring your friends, your neighbours, and your family. Whether you’re a long-time local or new to the area, this is a chance to connect, relax, and be part of something special.

Choir Performance – 10-Year Anniversary Celebration | 4:00pm
Our much-loved choir will fill the hub with music to mark their incredible 10-year milestone. -
Candombe Drumming Room + Workshop | Drums available all night, Workshop at 5:00pm
Explore the rhythm and energy of this Uruguayan tradition. Drums will be available to try throughout the evening – just be mindful to keep it quiet during the choir performance! -
Free Henna Hand Art
Beautiful, intricate designs by a local artist – come and get your hands adorned, no cost involved. -
Craft Stations & Board Games
Sit down, get creative, and connect with others through simple crafts and shared play. Jigsaw puzzle tables and board games will be set up all night. -
Delicious Multicultural Finger Food
Enjoy tasty bites from local food makers, including Italian treats.
This event is part of our commitment to celebrating the diversity that makes our Merri-bek community vibrant and unique. It’s also a time to slow down, share laughter, and warm up the winter chill together.
