Celebrate Youth Fest 2025

This September, Sussex Neighbourhood House is excited to be part of Youth Fest 2025, celebrating the energy, creativity, and voices of young people in our community. We’re hosting two free events designed to bring people together, spark imagination, and provide a space for connection.

🎮 E-sports Gaming Session

Step into a friendly and social gaming space, complete with multiple consoles and PC setups. Try out favourites like Minecraft, Fortnite, Mario Kart and more. Whether you’re playing solo or with friends, this is the perfect chance to meet new people and share a love of gaming in a relaxed environment. Parents are welcome to stay in the Hub, where tea, coffee, and free Wi-Fi will be available.

🎨 Community Mural Painting

Help bring a co-designed mural to life! Led by our Youth Art Space participants, this two-day mural project highlights diversity, inclusivity, and the unique spirit of Pascoe Vale. Local young people are invited to pick up a brush, add their creative touch, and be part of an artwork that will become a lasting feature of our community courtyard. It’s about collaboration, self-expression, and making your mark on a shared space.

Be Part of the Celebration

Both activities are free and open to young people aged 12+ living in Merri-bek and surrounding areas. Whether you’re into gaming, art, or just want to connect with others, there’s something here for you.
