Are you ready to step behind the camera and see what it takes to make movie magic? Our 2-day Let’s Shoot: Introduction to Screen and Media course will immerse you in the basics of cinematography, editing, sound mixing, animation, and post-production.
This practical course is designed for young creatives aged 16+ who are not currently attending high school, and best of all—it’s completely FREE! Using just your smartphone and free editing tools, you’ll work on fun and engaging projects that give you a taste of real-world media production.
You’ll get to:
- Experiment with different film roles like lighting supervisor, sound technician, and videographer.
- Create your own short media piece through hands-on projects.
- Develop skills that are not only useful in film but in any collaborative workplace—teamwork, communication, decision-making, and creative problem-solving.
Our facilitator is a talented young filmmaker who’s building a career in the industry. With their guidance, you’ll discover the variety of opportunities in the Creative Industries and explore the path toward further training, such as a Certificate II in Creative Industries at TAFE.
